Oil prices down in Asia


SINGAPORE: Oil prices eased in Asia on Tuesday, disappointing manufacturing data in the United States and affected by the closure of a pipeline, analysts said.


New York's main contract, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) light sweet crude for May delivery in May at $ 96.92 per barrel for Brent North Sea crude shed 15 cents and 12 cents dropped to $ 110.96.
